Found! Survivor 1967 RS Camaro Hidden Under a Tarp for 25 Years
By Steven Rupp March 31, 2022

This solid first-gen Camaro came with a bonus hoard of vintage Mopar parts.
Barn and garage finds are still out there, hiding under tarps or covered with discarded items. It's an inglorious fate for these classic cars, but eventually they end up being rediscovered and brought back into the sunlight.
So, How Do You Discover A Barn Or Garage Find?Well, the best way to come across a forgotten or squirreled-away classic car or truck is to keep your eyes and ears open. It also helps to have friends who might know of one or who have heard rumors about some "cool car" stuffed away. Such is the case of this 1967 RS Camaro that was saved by Lewis Roberts. If his name sounds familiar it's because we recently did a feature on his turbocharged Coyote-powered 1990 Mustang. Well, it turns out he likes Camaros as well.

Here's How Much a 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Costs Today
By Alexis Anderson March 24, 2022

The 1960s and early 1970s were the golden era of muscle cars in American automotive history. Before fuel prices shot up and left them scrambling for fuel-efficiency, the major automotive companies were all focused on putting out the most beefed-up pony cars that'll leave rivals in the dust. The head of the pack in popularity was always the first muscle car to come along, the Ford Mustang, but Ford's rivals did not let it have that title easily. And General Motors' main competitor against the Mustang was the Chevrolet Camaro.

Parked and Forgotten: 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS L48 Is a One-Owner Gem
By Bogdan Popa March 20, 2022

Anyone who wanted to buy a Camaro back in 1967 had to choose from a total of 6 different engine configurations.

The first of them was the L26, which came in the form of a six-cylinder unit developing 140 horsepower and fitted with a Rochester single-barrel carburetor. Chevrolet also offered an upgraded six-cylinder L22, this time with a displacement of 250 cubic inches (4.1-liter), with the power rating increasing to 155 hp.

In terms of V8s, the base choice in 1967 was the 327 (5.3-liter) with 210 horsepower. Also known as LF7, this unit was equipped with a Rochester Dualjet two-barrel carburetor.
