On Saturday, May 13th we held our Club Opening Cruise. We had a super turnout with over 35 Camaros. Even though we got sprinkled on, it was a great day. We toured the Dale Grau Collection near St. Cloud. He's got a lot of great 1932's! Thanks for sharing your passion for cars with us. Then we headed off for a catered lunch and prizes for everyone. Looking forward to seeing you for our next club event.
Saturday, April 22nd brought us to our most recent tech session at Classic Auto Repair in Blaine. It was well attended. We had an opportunity to view a great collection of eclectic vehicles from a local family that are stored in conjunction with Classic Car Auto Repair. Oh, and they repair cars too! Some of the repairs they do have been done on Bob Marvin's The Shed cars. Thanks to Ray W. for setting this tour up for the club.
April started off with the GSTA Car show in St. Paul at the Fair Grounds. We had three NCC Camaros and one member's '56 pickup that were chosen for the show. All four vehicles received awards. Our Sanford Father/Son Camaro duo won Outstanding in Class, Tony M. won 1st Place in his class, and Lonnie's '56 pickup won Outstanding in Class. Below are a few of the many display cars. There were a lot of great vehicles. Thanks to everyone for helping with set-up and take-down, for attending the show, and for bringing your vehicles. Good turnout for the show.

2025 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Will Be the Last of a Legendary Line
By K.C. Colwell May 8, 2023
This final internal-combustion Camaro will amply honor its track-focused predecessors when it appears in the fall of 2024—if Chevy doesn't pull the plug first, of course.
What It Is
The last Camaro before Chevy replaces it with an EV. This track-focused version is the spiritual successor to the fifth-generation Z/28.
Why It Matters
Among never-ending bar arguments over cars, none is more heated than Camaro versus Mustang. It's as American a rivalry as Ohio State versus Michigan, Cowboys versus Eagles, or "Tastes great!" versus "Less filling!" After this Camaro, though, the debate may...

A New Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Could Rescue the Nameplate From Its Demise
By BrendanTalian April 27, 2023
With the Camaro's departure on the horizon, an exclusive render shows how a new Z/28 model could help save Chevy's iconic muscle car.
General Motors is responsible for many classic iterations of American muscle cars such as the Pontiac GTO and the legendary Chevrolet Camaro. While base models on these cars are still impressive, few models draw more attention than the performance trims. The Camaro has had many different performance models through its many iterations, with Chevrolet bringing about a renaissance of the iconic Z/28 trim in 2014.

Chevrolet Camaro production will officially end after 2024 model year
By Zac Palmer Mar 22, 2023
Production for the sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro will officially come to an end after the 2024 model year, GM announced today. Chevy is sending the Camaro out in style with a limited production “Collector’s Edition” for the 2024 model year, too.
If you’re wondering about what comes next for the Camaro nameplate, there isn’t a complete answer available yet. The only thing Chevy is prepared to say today is that the “Camaro” name will continue to be used in racing series like NASCAR, IMSA, SRO, NHRA and the Supercars Championship.
Scott Bell, VP of Global Chevrolet had more to add. "While we are not announcing an immediate successor today, rest assured, this is not the end of Camaro’s story.” What exactly that story continues as will need to wait, but the Camaro as it stands today won’t be seen on dealer lots after the 2024 model year is sold out.
