We had our first Tech Session on Saturday, November 16 at the Wings of the North Air Museum at Flying Cloud Airport. We had about 20 people come. The docents did a great job.! We even got to see a plane under repair in their shop.
We held our Season Ending Cruise on Saturday, October 5th. We rallied the members at the Holiday Station in Hastings with a total of 19 Camaros. We took a leisurely drive down along the Mississippi on the Wisconsin side to Nelson. Then we headed back up to Hastings, stopping for a picnic lunch at Staehli Park Road. It was a beautiful day to end the season before we put our Camaro's to rest for the, dare we say it, winter.

The Origins of the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
By Jeff Koch February 24, 2024
As seen on Hennings.com
How the Trans-Am racing series spawned the showroom superstar.
The Sports Car Club of America caught the pony car zeitgeist with the Trans-American Sedan Championship, better known simply as Trans-Am. Evolved from the SCCA’s A- and B-sedan club-racing categories, the series had two classes that ran on track together; the more relevant of these was the Over 2-liter class...Once he got GM’s blessing to do a version of the upcoming Camaro pony car aimed at Trans-Am competition, Vince Piggins (then an assistant Chevrolet staff engineer) assured SCCA brass that Chevy would enter a car for the ’67 series. The car, the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, would become the first SCCA Trans-Am-homologated pony car, thus ensuring its place in the history books—even if it never won...

Heading to Scottsdale 2024: This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko CPOP is the Real Deal
By Tara Hurlin January 9, 2024
Don Yenko is a name known by muscle car aficionados, particularly for creating the legendary high-performance Yenko Camaro, albeit he also created more powerful versions of other Chevrolet cars like the Chevelle, Nova, and Corvair. As a result of the Yenko Camaro’s popularity, there are quite a few copycats on the roads in the form of tribute cars, clones, and fake examples that claim to be factory when they are in fact frauds. This example, a Daytona Yellow 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Yenko COPO, is the real deal.

8 of the Greatest Chevrolet Camaros in the model's history
By Brendan McAleer February 13, 2024
The Camaro lives, it dies, it lives again. Now, again, it dies. Or at least, it’s just resting. (Parrots do that, you know.) Yes, Chevrolet’s Mustang-mimic grew to be so much more than an imitation pony car over the decades, creating a huge fanbase that stretched over several generations. Now, the last examples of the sixth-gen car are rolling off the line at the Lansing Grand River assembly plant, heading off to owners who have one last Camaro Summer in the cards.
