Our first event of 2024 was the return of the Bowtie Brunch on Saturday, January 20th. We had a very nice showing. It even sounds like this may return to a recurring event with three clubs (Camaro, Impala, and Chevelle) all working together to plan the details. Stay tuned...
December 9th we held our annual shopping trip for Toys for Tots. Member donations were an all time high, with the Club matching the first $500. We filled five shopping carts to the brim! The staff at the Quarry Target did a great job scanning and bagging the many treasures we found. Thanks to everyone for your donations and time to shop. We even had several grandkids along to help make the right choices. We, of course, ended with a great lunch at Doolittle's.

The car, the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, would become the first SCCA Trans-Am-homologated pony car, thus ensuring its place in the history books—even if it never won...

8 of the Greatest Chevrolet Camaros in the model's history
By Brendan McAleer February 13, 2024
The Camaro lives, it dies, it lives again. Now, again, it dies. Or at least, it’s just resting. (Parrots do that, you know.) Yes, Chevrolet’s Mustang-mimic grew to be so much more than an imitation pony car over the decades, creating a huge fanbase that stretched over several generations. Now, the last examples of the sixth-gen car are rolling off the line at the Lansing Grand River assembly plant, heading off to owners who have one last Camaro Summer in the cards.
