We held our Summer Banquet on August 1st at a new venue, the St. Croix Valley Train in Osceola, WI. We had 40 members attend. It was a nice 90-minute ride along the valley with a box lunch and time to visit and tour other rail cars. It was a nice relaxing trip.
The engine changing ends of the train to pull us back to the station.

July 17-19 we were at the Street Machine Nationals, parking in our usual spot on Underwood. Pretty sure the heat and air quality kept a few people away, but overall it was a good show. Especially if you had a nice shady spot to sit and watch the parade of cool cars drive by.
A trip down Camaro Alley, with the addition of one overheated Chevy truck that stopped to cool down.
Our first car show of the season started off with a bang on a hot, hot day. Our 25th Anniversary with Cornerstone Chevrolet Stillwater! We had 116 participant cars on display. It was a great start to our car season. We even had the MSRA Safety team doing car inspections. Many thanks to all our volunteers and our 25 year Sponsor, Cornerstone Chevrolet, who made this show possible.

We had the best ever weather day for our Season Opening Cruise. Twenty-two Camaros cruised from Prior Lake to Albert Lea. The pavilion on Fountain Lake had a wonderful view of the lake. After a tasty lunch we had our traditional give-aways. All around it was a great day!

Wow! A great effort was put into reorganizing the trailer. A HUGE Thanks to Bill and Jan S. for all your hard work. You went above and beyond. We will be so much more efficient at set-up and take-down for our shows this summer. Now our job will be to keep it organized. THANK YOU!

Thanks to Jeff C. we had a great tour at North Speed and Restoration in East Bethel on Saturday April 18th. We had 20 club members attend. The owner, Ron Hinshaw, gave us a personal tour and answered lots of questions from our group. Afterwards we headed our for lunch at Route 65 Pub & Grub.

On April 11-12th we were at the 68th Annual GSTA Rod & Custom Car Show at Canterbury Park Expo Center. We were lucky enough to have three Camaros there. It was a wonderful weekend with loads of spectators perusing great vehicles.

The trailer cleanup crew (minus one) went out for a well deserved lunch at
MC's Garage
on March 28th. The trailer looks great and ready for our shows. Thanks crew!!

We had our first Tech Tour of 2026 on Saturday, March 21st at Alloy Wheel Specialists in Coon Rapids. Twenty-five members met there and learned a lot about refinishing wheels. A few members have already had work done there and highly recommend them. Afterward, of course, we headed out for a delicious lunch at Jellybean and Julia's BBQ down the street.

On Saturday, February 21st we had our Holiday Event at Puttshack in Edina. Twenty-six members gathered for a nice lunch followed by mini golf. That was a first, having a golf ball synced to your name! It tracked you from hole to hole and kept score. Members had a lot of fun.

General Motors quietly teases beloved American muscle car comeback as company files telling trademark
By Chris Bradford October 6, 2025

GEARHEADS have been left wondering if a nostalgic muscle car that was previously discontinued could be making a comeback.
Chevrolet Camaros stopped rolling off production lines after the 2024 model year was released.
But, a move made more than 7,000 miles away has sparked fresh hope that the car could make a return, as reported by GM Authority.

From Order Form To Outlaw, This COPO Camaro Broke Rules And Records Alike

By Chris McElmeel    August 18, 2025

There’s nothing fun about filling out paperwork, but in the late ’60s, the right box checked in GM’s Central Office Production Order system could turn a run-of-the-mill Chevy Camaro into something much faster and rarer. Normally, that COPO pipeline was used to crank out taxicabs and fleet trucks, but in 1969, a handful of savvy dealers and racers slipped a monster 427 into Chevy’s pony car under the radar. The result was the COPO Camaro, and this one, nichnamed Tin Soldier, is rarer than a clean mullet in a Metallica mosh pit.

Antique Green With Envy: A Righteous Camaro Resto-Mod
By Josh Leatherwood August 4, 2025

The Chevrolet Camaro has always been one of America’s most popular performance cars. Who doesn’t love legendary small-block power in an attractive platform that, for much of its fifty-plus years, had serious track capability? That said, only recently have builders and collectors realized the true potential and desirability of the second-generation ‘panther’....

Its a Classic and an Icon of American Culture: The Car That Captivated Chuck Norris

By Tomás Aguirre June 02, 2025

Bold, powerful, and built to make an entrance -- the Chevrolet Camaro isn't just a muscle car. It's a cultural symbol. And for action legend Chuck Norris, it's the ride that captured his attention and never let go...
It's not just a car -- it's a machine with attitude. And Chuck wouldn't have it any other way.
